Alpe Campo consists of a small group of houses in a panoramic position. From this pasture, one can enjoy a splendid view of the Valsesia peaks of the Monte Rosa, often photographed reflected in the small lake near the village. The imposing Monte Tagliaferro, the watershed between Alagna and Rima, overlooks the alpine area.

Alagna - Frazione Ronco (1254 m)

Leaving the car at Ronco di Alagna, continue on foot along trail n.209. The route runs alongside the Campo stream climbing through the forest on the left orographic side at the foot of the Ronco and Ronco superiore hamlets, then crosses the creek to reach the huts of Wittwosma. You continue through mixed woods with a steep but comfortable ascent and cross the creek again at an easy ford to reach first the Alpe Campo Inferiore (1846 m), which is left on the left, and subsequently the Alpe Campo Superiore at (1923 m). The trail offers memorable panoramic views of the Corni di Stofful, the Valle d'Olen, and the Val d'Otro.
